FOUNDATION IN NATURAL AND BUILD ENVIRONMENTS

Foundation in Natural and Built Environments, FNBE for short, is the foundation course targeted towards students who plan to pursue a career in Architecture or Quantity Surveying. This foundation course will equip the students with the skills and knowledge required for their chosen course to provide a smooth transition to the degree courses in Taylor's.

As the name suggests, FNBE focuses on two main areas: The natural environment as well as the built environment. Students will learn about sustainable architecture, engineering and planning, preserving and restoring the balance between natural and built environments with appropriate technology and ecologically sensitive design.

There are a total of 10 modules which students will have to take over the course of two years. Three of them are electives which will give the students the choice between architecture modules or quantity surveying modules.

To continue to the degree of their choice, students must obtain a CGPA 2.67 or higher and must pass all the 10 modules.
