ASSIGNMENT 1 - Exploration of Design Elements & Principles, Compositions and Pattern
This is the first project of our module, and we were introduced to the basics of design, which were the elements, principles and compositions of design, and to apply them in a repeat pattern. We had to present our findings in a booklet, which included notes about each theory as well as accompanying photographs with it.
Just like what Ms Dee said, this is the easiest project that we have, and all we had to do was to do research and go to a place to take photographs, which was the KLCC park.
I think the hardest part of this project is the photos part, especially since we had to describe and elaborate on the design elements and principles of each photo. While it might be boring at times, this project taught us about the basics of design, which we will use in our future projects.
