ASSIGNMENT 1B - Site Inventory and Analysis
Our second project is to conduct a site inventory and analysis for our site. I enjoyed doing the site analysis for ENBE, so I was pretty excited to do this project too. We were put into groups of 10 and I helped to lead and coordinate the project. Working in groups of 10 makes the workload less for each of us, but it was difficult to organize meetings among us.
We had to make an interim presentation slideshow to record all of our findings from the site. We were all split to do specific topics. I recorded the findings for hardscapes and helped design the presentation slides.
Next we had to create 8 A2 presentation boards. Once again we split our tasks, and I was tasked to create the presentation boards as well as helping each of my group members do the analysis. Initially our boards was a mess, and we were told off during the tutorial 1 week before presentation, but we spent the week redoing the boards from scratch and after days without proper sleep we managed to complete the boards in time.
In the project I learned how to improve my site analysis skills as well as how to work with a large team. I also learned how important time management is, because we were scolded for producing last minute work during one of the tutorials.
